Contemplate this beautiful illustration by Erik Hollander. Notice how our Savior weeps over the inhabitants of the earth who have turned away from Him. He still lingers over them and desires their salvation.
When I come home to heaven how joyful it will
be!
For on that day at last my risen Lord I'll
see.
No greater happiness than to see Him
face to face,
to see the love in His eyes and feel His warm
embrace.
I've done nothing to deserve that perfect
home above.
It was given freely through the grace of Jesus'
love.
A woman was asked by a co-worker, "What is it like to be a Christian?" The co-worker replied, "It's like being a pumpkin. God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes off all the dirt. Then He cuts the top off and scoops out all the yucky stuff. He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, and other junk, and then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see."
